Looklen Architects recently joined the unveiling of TCEB’s latest vision: turning our city into a ‘Global Design Exhibition Hub.’ Leveraging world-class exhibitions is a key driver for Thailand’s creative economy, and we are thrilled to be part of this movement.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok. The event also featured a knowledge-sharing forum titled “Driving the Economy toward Global Markets through Design,” alongside panel discussions with leading designers. These sessions explored key dimensions of contemporary design, inspiring participants and sparking new creative perspectives.
On this occasion, TCEB officially launched its international pilot project, “THE WORLD ENDS_: Bangkok International Design Expo,” scheduled for 2026. Initiated in collaboration with Thai designers under the theme “Every End Marks the Beginning of New Opportunities,” the initiative aims to elevate Thailand’s exhibition industry onto the global stage. The expo will connect designers, entrepreneurs, investors, and brands from around the world, provide a global platform for Thai designers, and mark the starting point for attracting world-class design exhibitions to Thailand on a sustained basis in the future.
