Traditionally, the architecture frames the interior which frames the belongings of a home. We see this as the master-planning of living conditions, that should be reexamine. We seek to rethink the boundaries of a home by abolishing the unmovable, unalterable, and unchangeable fixed walls what is an integral architectural element of a common home that should be more flexible and agile to accommodate a variety of living conditions of multiple homeowners for years to come.

Essentially, we see a home as the boundaries of belongings. We proposed a system of rotating partitions where the architecture, interior and the furniture can be configured simultaneously. Hinged on an axis, each partitions turns and rotates through the space, continuously redefining their surroundings. Their movement create a range of fragile spatial relationships, a dialogue of in-between zones. The conception is open-ended as there are an infinite possible configurations of boundaries. The partitions dematerializes the idea of a traditional room, blurring the boundaries between room to room, inside and outside, the home and the homeowners. The homeowners can now at will, manipulate, reconfigure, and customize the spatial conditions of their homes.

The project explores the points of transmission, or friction, between one space and another. We think of these partitions as a turning point that questions the definition of space division, adding dimension to the construction of walls in a work of architecture. These selected scenarios shows the possibilities of a particular architectural system, of which can still be moved, altered, and changed. A more homely approach to create a home, no longer by the ideas of an architect, but the instincts of the homeowners.
