Vanilla Valley Residence is a two-storey private home nestled within the lush grounds of Huai Pa Pok Resort in Uthai Thani, Thailand. Designed with sensitivity to its natural surroundings, the residence preserves seven mature trees on-site and integrates them into a harmonious architectural layout. The house’s distinctive curved form, featuring four semicircular voids, creates courtyards around the preserved trees, blending functionality with aesthetics. These courtyards seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces, providing a sense of privacy while fostering a deep connection to nature.
The linear open-plan layout ensures unobstructed views of the surrounding forest park and supports efficient cross-ventilation, thereby reducing the need for artificial cooling.
